Duties:
- Prepare and bake a variety of bakery items, including batters, pastries, scones, yeast doughs, cookies, compotes, soups, gravies and special items
- Laminate doughs for croissants and other pastries
- Follow recipes and measurements accurately to ensure consistent quality
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters
- Maintain accurate records of recipe creation and usage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:
- At least one year experience as a baker required in a from-scratch kitchen or equivalent training
- Experience laminating doughs preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask, self- motivate, and prioritize
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Collaborate with other bakers and managers, plan desserts and pastry items, oversee day to day production of baking, other kitchen prep items, and create prep lists
- Basic knife skills for ingredient preparation

This is a part-time position (32 hours) that will require early morning shifts (starting at 5am) and will also require some flexibility in scheduling.
Compensation: $18-$22 an hour
